About Farmer's daughter
Business-owner and foodie Michelle Shabatura grew up on a produce farm. As a farmer’s daughter, she is rooted in values of cultivating and eating organic, raw and sustainable food. In 2004, Michelle decided to channel her knowledge, experience and passion for fresh food into a business, a grocery store and eatery given a name true to her identity: Farmer’s Daughter.
Since opening, Michelle has built a team of others who share her love for food. Bringing food from farms like her family’s to the Muskoka area has driven the success of the store, along with a strong commitment to inventive food creation and making natural ingredients the star of every dish.
